Christmas with Nana Pa

Christmas with the Dorsey family was celebrated on December 18th before Pa returned to Fort Wayne and we left for Florida.

We shared a dinner of prime rib, mashed potatoes, corn, and green bean casserole before retiring to the living room to open gifts.
Pa lit a roaring fire while the rest of us began to sort gifts.

Both girls enjoyed helping Pa.

While waiting to open gifts, Lillian amused herself with a cup of colors and some of Nana's special paper. She is really enjoying coloring.

The stacking train from Aunt Beffie was a real hit (Thanks!)

She is so proud to tell you the sound a train makes, "Chooo Choooo"

The best gift for Lillian was the large gift bag to transport gifts from our house to Nana and Pa's.

Gift bag Lillian was fun for everyone.

Christmas jammies from Omi were another hit of the night.
Both girls loved putting on their new footies.

As usual, Lillian was not a huge fan of pictures.

It was fun to watch both girls open their gifts.
Both girls received new winter clothes, sleeping bags, and Barnes and Noble gift cards.

Santa Madi was a joy to watch. She loved her new winter crocs and family board game.

Nana's cuddly girls.

After gifts, Lillian was anxious to have pudding- cherry cheesecake with squirty creams.

Who needs a bowl when Pa will squirt it right in your mouth.

While Nana and Madi enjoyed looking at the Sparkman family album, Lillian enjoyed climbing on Mommy's new sewing box.

"Look at me"

A final snuggle before bed.

What a wonderful Christmas together!
Merry Christmas everyone.
