Come on over....
The girls were beyond thrilled when I told them they could swim in the pool this afternoon.
82F outside and 72F in the pool
A pose before taking the plunge
Goggles on
She jumps
She splashes
Madi's turn next!
Safe on their rafts
Diving for treasure- a floating treasure chest with diving coins and jewels
Why sit on your own raft when you can sit together
Even cousin Thomas and Aunt Beth came out to enjoy the sunshine
Thomas was not so thrilled about being in the pool- he barely put his toes in
Big Splashes from Tiny Mighty Lillian
Pool fun- let the memories begin
Inspired by the show Splash- Madison's attempt at a new dive
Great angle
Purple lips and shivers, I think its time to climb out :)
What a great first swim, can't wait for more afternoons in our backyard paradise.

Madi's Birthday Part II
Tonight we celebrated Madison's birthday- a second time.
We gather with Nana, Papa, Omi and Aunt Beth and enjoyed a home cooked meal from Aunt Beth (Chicken Kiev, Veggies with Orzo, and crescent rolls).
After dinner, Madison enjoyed opening the rest of her gifts (with Lillian's help of course).
Cooper loved playing with the paper
New books from Aunt Marge
Seasons 2,3,and 4 of Full House (both girls were thrilled) Thanks Omi!
American Girl clothes for Kit from Aunt Beth and Uncle Sean
Pool toys from Grammie and Grampie. Look out for gators in the pool.
After present cuddles while Nana was getting desserts
Birthday apple crisp :)
Yummy
More cuddles before heading home to bed.

Madi's 11!
Happy 11th Birthday Madison.
And a mini butt stomp elephant
The hardest part was picking their flavors and toppings
Enjoying their creations:
Samantha: Strawberry, Orange and Chocolate yogurt topped with sour gummy worms, gummy bears and sprinkles
Madison: Cheesecake and Wedding Cake yogurt topped with cherries, sour gummy worms and whipped cream
Gabbie: Chocolate and Cookies and Cream yogurt topped with chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and gummy bears
Then it was off to the Y with a brief stop in the play area
Your never too old to make a slide train
Before heading to the rock wall for an hour of climbing
Gabbie did awesome for her first time on the rock wall
Samantha quickly scurried up the beginner wall
And Madison warmed up on the easier wall before conquering levels 2 and 3
Spider Madi climbing Level 2
Reaching for the top
Attempting Level 3
With success
Our last stop before home was dinner at Papa Joe Jr.
Yummy pasta for all!
The girls had a wonderful time playing, laughing and celebrating together.
What a blessing to have such great friends.
Happy Birthday sweet Madison. Your the Sparkle of my eye!
Madison enjoyed opening a few presents before starting the days festivities.
A new bike :)
While we were anticipating much enthusiasm and excitement Madison was a bit subdued (We later found out she knew what she was getting but still was very pleased).
And a mini butt stomp elephant
After opening presents, Madi headed out to her birthday breakfast with her Dad at McDonalds
Then like every year, Madison celebrated her birthday going to the Dr for her annual check up. She is 5"1.5" and still growing :)
She returned to school and celebrated lunch with her friends of pizza, pop and cookies.
After school she was joined by her friends Gabbie and Samantha for an afternoon, evening and sleepover fun.
