Christmas Recap

This Christmas we were home in Indiana.
Christmas Eve, while snuggled in our jammies, we read the Christmas Story and watched the Nativity movie.
Then with the kids snuggled in bed Rob and I prepared for Christmas morning.

Here are a few highlights of our magical day.

Trying out Daddy's new tripod and remote for his camera.
Finally a family picture of our ENTIRE family :)

 Playing Wii Games with Papa
Cooper loves his new Robot shape sorter
Hard at work with his tool box (he loved the yellow hammer)

Christmas crafts- Frog and Kitty banks to paint

New clothes are always a hit- especially fleece hoodies
A Hooded towel from Mama for the pool house and stencils for Art days
An R2D2 stuffed animal to keep Cooper safe at night
Cooper's hooded towel for the pool (also made by Mama)
(Lillian said I could take her picture with her towel in the summer when she is using it)

Our Christmas story would not be complete without this picture of Lillian.
This is after she opened all of her gifts at our house and had just revealed her kitchen (her Big gift).
She is disappointed because what she really wanted she had not gotten (yet)
It did not help that Cooper nearly pushed her down trying to get to the kitchen.
Of course, going over and playing with your brothers gift (a play grill) would make any older sister happy.
 All Sparkles in the kitchen
Just a few more gifts to open
American Girl clothes for her doll, Kit

Brave dolls to play with while they watch the movie
 My 2 favorite Sparkle sisters
Now there is my happy girl
This was the gift she had been waiting for. Fairy Periwinkle from the Tinker bell movie
Sporting their Grandma Nichols gifts (all were a huge hit)
 More clothes

And a My Little Pony castle
Plus a magnifying glass that lights up (Lillian LOVES it and carries it every where)
Finally, food and utensils for the kitchen and the grill

Another Christmas is over and done.
Another year of generosity and thoughtfulness from friends, family and other loved ones.
Another year of Blessings.

Thank you all for celebrating with us.
