Like all children... Albert (our family car) had to grow up. It just happens.

See you take little Albert to the car dealership and they pump up the tires with air until he is grown up!

And that is what happened (or at least Lillian's version) of how our blue Mazda 5 became a bronze Honda Odyssey :)

Good Night Sparkles

Bedtime... one of my favorite times of the day.

A chance to cuddle and snuggle and relax after a hectic day.

Cooper hanging out in his Papi rocker watching a movie before bed.

 Each Sparkle has a special routine. 

For each child we say our nightly prayer routine and sing their special songs.

For Cooper it is rocking in the chair in his room before he snuggles into his crib with Rufus.

 For Lillian it is listening to praise songs on Daddy's iPhone.

 And Madison enjoys quiet moments to chat on her bed before prayers and good night hugs.

Happy Spring

We are so glad that Spring has finally arrived in Indiana.

The snow boots and parkas have been put away and Spring clothes have made their debut.

And with Spring comes extra trips to the park.

John Knox Easter Festival

Each year the Sparkles enjoy visiting the Easter festival at Nana's church.

Here are a few highlights of their adventures...

Hunting Eggs

Easter would not be complete without an Easter Egg hunt!

Due to the weather... the Sparkles hunted their eggs in Papa's apartment.


Lillian and Cooper were to hunt in Living Room and Dining Room

 While Madison was to hunt in the kitchen

 Cooper had to take frequent cereal breaks... He was a hungry boy!
