Kitchen Baths

I love my new Kitchen sink.

It has many purposes including bath time for Cooper.

Cooper loves playing on his own, the water stays warmer and he is close to Mama.
Plus I get a ton done while he is "swimming".
Last night I was able to empty the dishwasher, mix my cupcake batter, bake 2 trays of cupcakes and make my icing before he was ready to get out.

What a happy, and clean boy.

Crib or Bounce house

While helping Madison with her homework, I heard Cooper wake up from his nap. Lillian asked if she could go by him until I came to get him up. (I was excited she was putting others first... which we have talked a lot about)

Little did I know what she would do...

Yup, that's right. She climbed in with him and they were bouncing around :)

Working with Mama

While Mama is busy working...

Cooper is busy watching Netflix and having is snack.

I think this is an awesome set up :)

House Remodel

5 months into living in our new house and we have finally dipped out toes into a bit or remodeling.

The Kitchen and Bathrooms all got new counter tops and a bit of paint on the walls and vanities completed the transformation.

I do not have the before pictures of the Master Bathroom or the Laundry room.
For the master bathroom- we painted the walls a light gray, added a fresh coat of paint to the vanity, changed to a smaller framed mirror, painted the light fixture and added new knobs to the vanity.

In the Laundry Room
We laid the same laminate as the rest of the downstairs plus added a huge counter top over the washer and dryer (best idea EVER)

We are very happy with the results (and even happier that the work is done).
Thanks, honey for doing such a fantastic job! I am blessed beyond measure to have such a handy husband.

Swim Team

Madison is enjoying another season of swim team. She swims the majority of 50m but still does a few 25m races.

Her favorite stroke is breast stroke although she excels in her back stroke.

She will get her ribbons in a couple weeks and we will see how she has improved. 

Last month she had 2 first place ribbons and 3 second place ribbons.

Warm Winter Days

Sink Baths

Regardless of the size of our bath tubs (or the number of toys we have) our kids, if asked,  would always choose to bath in the kitchen sink.

The best part of Nana and Pa's kitchen remodel was the addition of the deep sink.
Lillian and Cooper love sink baths at Nana's.

My only concern is that they will discover how vast our new Kitchen sink is at home and the ideas that they will come up with.

Pa Days and Nana Nights

The kids love Fridays!

Time with Nana and Pa is always memorable.

A few weeks ago, while Madison was at school and Cooper was napping at home with Mama, Lillian enjoyed a special trip the Children's Museum with just Nana.

They saw every exhibit and had a BLAST.

Of course Lillian said the best part was wearing Nana's hat!

Can't wait to here that they will do this week.

Adventures at the Y

Locker Rooms

Tumbling

And Rock Climbing walls

Our weekly fun at the YMCA :)

Lillian is loving her Tumbling class and is already signed up for another 7 week session. She is making great strides and her teacher has mentioned the possibility of her moving up to the next level soon (she will finally learn a cart wheel).
While Lillian is in Tumbling, Madison has enjoyed climbing the Rock Wall. Some weeks she is the only 1 and her best time so far is 1 minute 7 seconds to the top. She has even started taking a stop watch with her to try to beat her time.
Cooper enjoys hanging out in the Kid Watch area while Mama works out on the elliptical.
Its a great time for all at Y and a day we really look forward to.

Aunt Marge comes to town

A visit with Aunt Margie is always a blast. Lots of stories to read and musicals to see.

Can't wait for the next adventure together.
