Mini Vacation to Florida

Our mini vacation to Florida to visit family was shorter then expected. The girls had a fabulous week with Grammie and Grampy and Rob, Cooper and I enjoyed a few days together in the beautiful sunshine with family before heading to the UK for business.

After getting in very late Thursday night (an unexpected 3 hour delay in Indy) we enjoyed breakfast with Pops at IHop before driving from Tampa to Naples.

 We arrived in Naples at lunch time and enjoyed walking to visit Great Grandpa

After visiting with Great Grandpa, Rob and Bob enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the kayak while the girls enjoyed a trip in Grammie's little boat and an afternoon on the beach.

 While the girls were in the boat, Cooper just chilled in his stroller with Sophie

 And enjoyed sitting on the dock waiting for his sisters to return

 After building sand castles at the beach (another post) we returned home to clean up before the family arrived for a joint birthday dinner for the girls.

 Dinner included yummy lasagna, salad, and garlic bread. It was great to visit with aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

 We passed the evening together, relaxing and just enjoying visiting

It was a wonderful evening. We are so blessed to have such a large and loving family. It was so nice to be together for an evening (most of the relatives we have not seen since our wedding) during our short visit.
