Lillian is now 4--- I can hardly believe it. (And yes I know I am a bit behind in posting)
She had a fabulous birthday- celebrating here in Indiana with Nana, Pa, Ya ya, Uncle Kevin, Cynthia, and our family.
Tuesday night, Ya ya and Uncle Kevin (along with Cynthia) came for their usual Tuesday night dinner and an early birthday celebration.
Coloring with Cynthia while waiting for dinner
An early present from Ya ya
Reading her card and then opening her gift
"Can you believe it, its a Monkey Mat and it looks like Moe"
(Ya ya makes beautiful latch hook rugs for all her nieces and nephews. Its always interesting to see what the kids call them. Madison has an angel rug which she has always tried to use as a blanket and Lillian calls hers a mat and uses it that way too. Its a place mat, a nap mat, a floor mat etc).
Thanks Ya ya, Uncle Kevin and Cynthia
Yum yum- apple cake and cream cheese frosting (Mommy's favorite too)
On her actual birthday (Wednesday April 18th) we went to Nana and Pas to open presents and then to McDonalds for Chicken Nuggets (its was the birthday girls choice)
My Little Ponies from Pops (they are her favorite and she plays with them every day)
Nana and Cooper were very excited to see Lillian's presents.
Lots of wonderful surprises and treats from loved ones.
Even a new Duckling book (just like Pigeon)
A fabulous pink dress from Omi and a flower headband too
And finally a monkey bean bag from Mommy and Daddy
Checking out her cake pops before dinner.
She loved the princess wand
Sliding it back before Mommy notices
At McDonald's for dinner
Singing happy birthday to the princess
Pretending to eat them all.
Time to play in the Play Land
In the tunnels
Everyone down the slides
Racing back to the top
Meanwhile back at the table, Cooper enjoyed some undivided Nana Pa time while playing on the table
After much fun and excitement, it was time to head home for baths and bed.
Looking forward to the adventures of having a 4 year old.
