Grammie's Pool

Sunny skies and warm weather made for a perfect day to visit the local pool.

$14 for all of of us to enjoy the water park and to have it all to ourselves. (A great advantage of being from the North and school still in session in Florida)

Life guard Derek gave Lillian a swimming test upon our arrival which enabled her to go down the 2 water slides and even jump off the diving board. (Thanks Miss Amy for teaching Lillian to swim)

There was a zero depth pool with fountains that cooper enjoyed sitting in.

A view from the top of the 2 slides. The kid area is off to the right and the lap pool and diving boards is off to the left.

Madi and Cooper exploring the kid pool with Daddy
I
Cooper loved splashing in the fountains.

Swimming under the palm trees.

Another awesome day.

Boogie boards, mermaids, and waves, Oh My!

For us Hoosiers a trip to the beach is always a treat.

The girls enjoyed taking turns on the boogie board

And building sand mermaids.

Playing in the sand is fun for everyone.
Cooper and Mama enjoying the shade under the umbrella (thanks aunt Abby and Oliver)

Family memories at the beach- PRICELESS!

Royal Scoop

A visit to Grammie would not be complete without a trip to Royal Scoop.

We ate our ice cream too quickly to capture a picture.
It's also fun to drink water from the small ice cream bowls.
Cooper was very thirsty after sharing everyone's treats and loved having his own cup of water.

Yes- we walked to get ice cream in our jammies :)

More adventures to come...

Pool party

We were so excited to be able to move our vacation forward a few days and squeeze in a visit with our friends from Germany.

We had a blast eating, drinking, and swimming together.

Little frog Cooper  enjoyed the pool best from his green raft (the water wings were bigger then him)

Thanks Steffen and Eva for your hospitality.  Can't wait to see you again.

Sleepover with Grammie

While visiting with our friends from Germany, the kids enjoyed a sleepover with Grammie.

They had a blast attending a hockey game with the Super Kids and having special Grammie time.

Cooper enjoyed breakfast and cartoons in his Jammie's.  This boy loves bananas.

Cooper at the Wheel

Driving the rental car...

Vacation begins

Vacation Day 1

We arrived safely in Florida. The flight was uneventful-minus the fact that Cooper cried a lot due to a lack of nap.

We got our luggage and our rental car without hassle and began our drive to our first destination.

Cooper finally napped and the girls enjoyed watching a movie on the iPad (whatever did we do without this awesome device).

Looking forward to our vacation adventures.

Lillian's master piece

While visiting Lillian's classroom for parent teacher conferences I had the opportunity to see some of the amazing projects she completes each day.

This was my favorite.
The students were given various art materials and asked to create a master piece.  When they were done, the students dictated a descriptive sentence about their art before hanging it on the wall.

Here is Lillian's master piece.

While other pictures said... This is me or my house or my dog, Lillian's picture said
"this is my mom with crazy hair"
I love this girl :)

All about Lillian

Last week Lillian was star of the week for her preschool class.  The Friday before she brought home a poster to complete over the weekend.

With the poster safely rolled in her backpack, Lillian was excited to return to school on Monday with her show and tell item (Mo of course) for her special week.

Her poster included: her name, age, favorite color, book and foods, and even what she wanted to be when she grew up.
(picking a profession caused a bit of a trauma during poster creation- the thought of leaving mama and not living in her green room was too much to think about on a Sunday afternoon- she settled for swimmer since we had a pool and she could still keep her favorite swim teacher Miss Amy)

I can't wait to see what she creates next.

Cooper 15 Months

Cooper is 15 months old and he is my little tank.

Boys may not wear bows or cute outfits but they can wear sweater vests. Doesn't he look adorable.

Just a few pictures snapped after church- its hard to catch him, he is always on the move.

He has 6 teeth (4 on top and 2 on bottom)
He still loves his bottle- one before nap and one at bedtime. He now drinks some cows milk but prefers Almond Milk.
 So Big (or Touch down)
Not so sure about sitting on his own
I love that smile and his belly laugh.
Next time you see him... he will be with Mickey :)

Lillian- All kinds of Faces

I love my Lilli bug... and the faces she makes.

Here are a few highlights from yesterdays family pictures...
She was really into sticking out her tongue and making silly faces
Touchdown (why not stop and strike a pose when Daddy asks you to move)
 Monster Lillian (she was hungry)
Happy Smiles- Tongues, touchdowns, and monsters are all worth it to capture this sweet face

Sparkles

All I asked for was an updated picture of my 3 favorite Sparkles... but I might as well have asked for a million dollars.

Thank goodness Daddy is patient and has a super fast camera. :)

1 happy smile, 1 smirk, and 1 finger in the mouth
 This one speaks for itself
1 happy smile, 1 silly face, 1 finger still in his mouth (along with the Teddy Graham that I used to bribe him to sit still)
1 happy smile, 1 silly face, and 1 blowing kisses
Ok- maybe if Mama gets in the picture it will help.
1 happy smile, 1 stern face, 1 pretty mama, and 1 limp noodle
 2 smiling sisters (getting closer)
2 smiling sisters and 1 happy brother = 1 happy Mama
(it only took 74 pictures to capture this shot. But so worth it :)
