Ready for Halloween

Someone is ready for Halloween (and it's not Mama who still needs to find time to sew costumes )

Ok it's not candy but apple sauce is just as good (especially at 8am before pschool)

We moved!

Contrary to the plethora of emails I have received lately, no I am not buried under boxes and yes everything is unpacked.

Unfortunately I am finding it a bit challenging to get back into a normal routine. 2 months of transition (and yes I know we are blessed it was not longer) was enough to challenge even my best planned days.

I promise that
I will post pictures of our new home and the story of this amazing God journey soon (hopefully before our next adventure)

Stay tuned!

Two Wednesdays

Last Wednesday was national talk like a pirate day...

Lillian dressed up like Izzy from Jake  and the Neverland Pirates and with her treasure map in hand went on a treasure hunt with her classmates and pirate teacher to find the loot. Her little pirate talk was awesome and doesn't she have the cutest pirate scowl :)

This Wednesday was stick your head in the bannister day (Sparkman house only)

Yes Lillian's head is really stuck in the stair bannister. Yes it was hard to get her out. Yes we had to use soap to make her slippery and yes we have made the new family rule of no sticking your head in the bannister

Life is always exciting when you have kids :)
Let's hope next Wednesday is a little more routine

Lillian at Preschool.

Lillian LOVES her new preschool.
While it was a bit sad to leave behind 2 teachers that she loved, the transition to a new school has been filled with excitement and passion for learning.

Her teacher is an amazing example of doing what you love and shares her enthusiasm for learning with her students. Her excitement for the days adventures and lessons is contagious.

Lillian is making some wonderful new friends and reconnecting with some special friends too.

I can't wait to hear about next weeks lessons and adventures when I return.
