Just Lillian and Mama

In the midst of the hustle and bustle of life,  I try to be very intentional to spend 1 on 1 time with each of my Sparkles.

Here are a few highlights from my special times with Lillian.

Snuggling in the big bed and watching a Christmas movie together while Daddy and Madison watched The Hobbit downstairs.
Our dessert- Pretzels and Cream Cheese frosting

Seeing the movie Frozen together. Lillian managed to eat almost the entire Medium popcorn all by herself. It was a great movie (I highly recommend seeing it, even if you do not have kids :)
Nothing beat listening to deep belly laugh of my middle Sparkle.
 Dressing fancy together
and finally making a batch of cookies.

The smiles and the memories that will last a lifetime.

Sparkle Cookies

The Sparkles LOVED helping Nana make Christmas cookies to share with our friends and neighbors.

Cooper and Omi making Christmas Tree sugar cookies

 Ready for the oven, Nana
Lillian did a fantastic job mixing up the dough
while Madison was cutting up the cherries
If you ever need flour sifted.... Lillian is the girl for the job!
Madison made the M&M cookies all by herself. They are super yummy, too.
Cooper was in charge of putting a cherrie and sprinkle on all the sugar cookies.
 He was quite meticulous.

I have the best Sparkle helpers!

Baritones and Band Concerts

Madison is following in her Aunt Beth's footsteps and is playing the baritone in her school band. She is also the only girl :)

We enjoyed attending her first band concert of the year.

Here she is proudly entering with her band mates.
 Setting up her music

 The Low Brass Section
(Madison is in the far right corner on the end of the row- just behind the man in blue)
 The 6th grade band!

 She did a fantastic job
At least we thought so... and guess this little boy did not agree with us.
Can't wait to hear her Spring Concert.

Christmas- Sparkle Style

Merry Christmas to all.

Everything set up and ready for the morning.

Wearing pajama pants made by Mama on Christmas morning
The best Christmas gift- all 3 sparkles smiling in a picture

We slept in until 8 and after a quick freshing up we were ready to head downstairs.

Opening Presents...
 Lego Sets
 New clothes
 and Lego Cars
The girls love their matching school sweat shirts
 and more Lego sets
 My Shoe Queen

 and new winter hats

What better gift then new monkey pajamas- complete with footies and a hood
Taking a break from opening presents to play Legos
The girls were anxious to start building their new Lego sets.

While Mama was busy cooking in the kitchen
That afternoon Omi, Nana and Papa came over to celebrate Christmas with us.

Thank you Omi! Its my favorite.

We hope your Christmas was as blessed and memorable as ours.
