Nana and Pa joined us at our house (they did not put up their tree this year due to their kitchen remodel) to open presents and a family dinner at Papa Joe Jr's.
Our Christmas tree (the 6ft tree was a bit too small and could not hold all of our ornaments, so we have upgraded for next year to a 7'5''ft tree)
Mommy and her girls. The Christmas beauties.
The girls presents from our friends in England arrived just in time.
Madison loves her new Brownie camping blanket and Lillian was thrilled to have her very own Thomas train.
The Union Jack pillow is perfect on our rocking chair and is a great reminder of our wonderful friends across the pond.
Roni and Lisa sent the perfect bits and bobs for all of us.
Lillian was thrilled to have Monkey socks and underwear and new monkey pajamas. (Her facial expressions this year were fabulous).
Thomas Train was and instant favorite. The box was quickly opened and Thomas was never far from her hand.
More memorable faces of Lillian.
New crocs.
We took a break from opening presents to eat dinner and then returned for round 2.
Lillian's new favorite book "Interrupting Chicken" and a Loki ornament for our tree- courtesy of Aunt Beth and Uncle Sean.
Omi sent train puzzles for Lillian and a bean bag toss game for Madison.
She finally has a grocery shopping cart to take to the store.
A sister present to share from Nana and Papa- doll clothes and accessories.
Monster trucks from Nana and Papa.
Papa got his very own Wii and was very excited.
Pillows from Mommy and Daddy- a monkey for Lillian (including a built in sleeping bag) and a pink reading pillow for Madison.A motorcycle that Lillian now rides all over downstairs
And new winter hats
Lillian patiently waited while Daddy put her motorcycle together. She loves riding it back and forth.
Last but not least, Christmas pajamas made by Mommy.
(What happens when your model is 2 years old, has a mind of her own, and wants to help Mommy sew---- Christmas pajamas that are too short but still stitched with love).
It was a very blessed Christmas for the Sparkman family.
We very much appreciate every one's kindness and generosity this holiday season.
