During our time in Italy, we took a day trip to Verona- famous for Shakespeare plays particularly Juliet's balcony (which we saw but Rob did not deem necessary to photograph)
The train took just under 2 hours each way to reach Verona from Milan.
The old arena has been converted to house summer symphony's and concerts. Absolutely stunning.
Inside the arena
Crossing the bridge on the walking tour to the next cathedral
What a beautiful bridge.
This is the main shopping square of Verona- with lots of street vendors and restaurants
Picturesque Italy
One of the 4 churches we visited that day
It was a beautiful city- easy to escape into the beauty of the streets and sites of Verona and a place I definitely want to return to.
