Induction Day!

We arrived at the hospital at 6:30am on Thursday for our scheduled induction.

Admissions took a bit longer then expected but we were finally settled into our room with all IVs and medications started by 9am.

My epidural was in around Noon and then it was just waiting for our baby to make its appearance.

Labor was a bit longer then expected (given my history of speedy deliveries) but was fully controlled by my doctors and a very peaceful and stress free experience.

 Our hospital does everything in the same room! Here is the bed, heat lamp and baby necessities for our little one.

 Love at first sight! Our beautiful son made his appearance at 5:03pm

 His birth weight: 7lbs 10 oz

 Then back into Mommy's arms.
