Park Lunch

Summer is in full swing.
School is finally done for all the Sparkles (Lillian's last day was last Thursday).

The girls are enjoying spending time in the pool, staying in their jammies all day and just being around the house playing.

The nearby park host Lunch Bunch every Tuesday.
They serve lunch and provide activities for the kids to do.

We brought our own picnic and enjoyed sharing a blanket with friends.

After lunch, the girls ran/walked a mile to earn their fitness token before heading over the park to play.

They also brought home a reading, fitness, and healthy eating long to earn more tokens until the next meeting

The tokens are charms that fit on a lanyard. Lillian is thrilled that so far hers are all pink.

Can't wait for this weeks lunch fun.

Star Wars Museum

Saturday morning Papa, Daddy and the the 3 Sparkles headed to the Indiana State Museum to visit the Star Wars exhibit.

Everyone had fun and the girls even brought home their own light sabers.

Here are a few highlights of their adventure:

The only bummer was that all the exhibits were in glass enclosures :)

It was a fun morning for all.

Rube Goldberg Project

Madison had the awesome priviledge to build and participate in a Rube Goldberg project for school.

All 11 of the 5th grade classes completed a Rube and competed against one another.

Madison's class won!!!!!
They had only one intervention.

So proud of our little scientist :)

Police Man Cooper

Bedtime Snuggles

Bedtime has always been a special time for me with each of my Sparkles.

A time to snuggle and cuddle at the end of the day.

A time to read and pray and chat.

Just one on one time with each of my Sparkles- the perfect way to end the day.

But there is something about bedtime with Cooper that is extra special.

Maybe it is because he is my last baby to cuddle or maybe because we so easily fit in the rocking chair together.

Or maybe its the way he snuggles in my arms with his arms holding me tight that I cherish the most.

 But no matter what- bedtime is my favorite part of the day

Tuesday Dinners

Tuesday night dinners with Ya-Ya and Uncle Kevin have gotten just a little bit sweeter :)

We love getting some cuddles in with Wesley :)

What a blessing this little boy is to his family and to us :)

Big Heart Little Crew

An Update on our little Buddy Crew

His surgery was a success! We praise God for his miraculous healing and the amazing doctors and surgeons that were a part of Crew's healing here on Earth.

In honor of our little buddy we wore our shirts on Thursday (the day of his open heart surgery).

We even watched Crew's favorite show Special Agent Oso- while we waited for the news

 Cooper sent Crew a super hero cape and a lion cuddle just like his to help speed up his recovery.

We are blessed to call this 1 in a million boy our friend and thankful to serve the great physician :)

The surgery is DONE and the HEALING has begun.
